What is RPA and what does it do?
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a type of software that, within a process, takes over the tasks typically performed by a human. With RPA tools, your company can configure the software (or a "robot") to capture and interpret applications or documents you use. RPA helps you automate transaction and data processing, triggers responses, or communicates with other systems.
RPA scenarios range from something as simple as generating an automated email response to the implementation of thousands of robots, each programmed to automate processes within an ERP system.
RPA can perform repetitive tasks faster and more accurately than humans. This type of supporting technology allows you to focus on other tasks that require uniquely human qualities, such as emotional intelligence, reasoning, judgment, or direct customer interaction.
